Dr. Bendor-Samuel has committed to swim across the ocean strait between Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. The 14-17 km Northumberland Strait is a fast moving tidal body of water that is a formidable challenge to swim. He has teamed up with an organization called "Give to Live" to raise money for Brigadoon Village in Aylesford, Nova Scotia. All money donated to Dr.Bendor-Samuel's swim will go directly to the charity and Dr. Bendor-Samuel will match every dollar donated.
To donate to Brigadoon just click on the following link. No amount is too small so please consider giving to this wonderful cause. http://bigswim2014.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1105342&lis=1&kntae1105342=EDE6817522A04C2E83E44942188042D6&supId=404511925
