Meet Dr. Richard Bendor-Samuel
Dr. Richard Bendor-Samuel is a board-certified plastic surgeon with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a member of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery. He has been practicing cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery for more than 15 years. He has more than 20 surgical peer-reviewed publications in plastic surgery literature and has presented at many national and international meetings.

Meet Dr. Louis Boileau
Dr. Louis Boileau is a cosmetic surgeon who brings over 18 years of clinical experience to The Landings Surgical Centre. Upon graduating with a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Alberta, he completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the University of British Columbia. He then traveled to Switzerland, where he trained in cosmetic surgery and worked at one of the first worldwide liposuction clinics.
Dr. Louis Boileau then opened his own cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice in Prince George, British Columbia. He was instrumental in establishing the first private surgical facility in the province’s central interior and also served as a consultant surgeon at the False Creek Surgical Centre in Vancouver.
In 2004, Dr. Louis Boileau moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he now offers his surgical expertise to clients at The Landings Surgical Centre. Licensed in Nova Scotia and British Columbia, and board-certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Louis Boileau is dedicated to furthering education and expertise in the practice of plastic surgery. He has published many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters dealing with various aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery.

JoAnne Whynott is one of Canada’s foremost experts in facial rejuvenation. As Clinic Director at The Landings Surgical Centre in Halifax, JoAnne is at the leading edge of non-surgical revitalization techniques and is one of Canada’s most highly trained professionals in her field. She is the first and only nurse in Canada to have a Delegated Medical Function approval from the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia/College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia for the purpose of injecting Botox. JoAnne is also a Senior Technical Aesthetic Trainer, educating nurses and physicians on the latest injection techniques. With over 25 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, she is now entering her 5th year injecting dermal fillers and Botox on a full-time basis.
